My name is Melissa
but you can call me Mellie King :))
I am a 26 year old woman who lives in the Miami area.
I am currently in school majoring in ministry.
I know, your probably thinking "Just another girl that has it all together and wants to talk about Jesus 24/7"
The typical Stereotype.
I actually don't have it all together and as much as I love Jesus, I have other hobbies and activities that I am extremely passionate about.
But yes Jesus is my source and #1 in my life.
I'm far from perfect and far from the typical "Christ follower" but God is doing a work in me that I can say that I'm very proud of.
Dancing & writing are 2 of my favorite things to do, I even plan on publishing a book this year! (Pray for me about that)
My purpose for this blog is to encourage people!
I have had my share of hardships and suffering where I thought for sure that
my life was completely over and there was no turning back.
I was physically and verbally abused, raped, harassed and threatened.
But God had purpose for my life. He brought me out and is currently restoring me.
I plan on being very transparent and vulnerable on here in hopes that together we can encourage one an
other.
My journey is not over, it just started.
